ZXR10 2600 Series L2Access Ethernet Switches

  • Cost-effective and compact structure
    The ZXR10 2600 can be installed into the 19-inch standard rack or placed on desktop near the client. It supports external AC power supply. ZXR10 2609/2609-FU features easy installation, flexible applications and high price performance ratio.
  • Powerful security performance
    With good security policy, ZXR10 2600 series switch can restrict broadcast storm, supports802.1x authentication, port isolation, IEEE 802.1Q, VLAN based on port and MAC address, hierarchical user management and password protection, supports DHCP Snooping, VBAS and CPU protection.
  • Port mirroring and dynamic MAC binding
    Port mirroring can monitor given port. By means of capture port it can monitor ingress and egress traffic of other port. It can monitor specific MAC address. The capture port can be in the same device with the monitored port or they can be in different stacking devices.
    ZXR10 2600 series switch supports particular MAC/PORT dynamic binding technology. Combining with IEEE802.1x authentication, it dynamically binds access MAC address,  supports user switching between the port of device.
  • VCT and Loopback Test
    The VCT can diagnose open circuit, short circuit, mismatching of cable impedance, damaged connector, mismatching of terminator, and poor electromagnetic performance. And the port loopback test is a simple and effective wayto diagnose whether the data transfer on an Ethernet port is normal.

Architecture and Key Components

The ZXR10 2600 series switches are designed with leading ASIC hardware forwarding technologies, where all forwarding functions are performed by hardware, thus ensuring wire-speed forwarding capability of the ports.

The software architecture adopts the bottom-up hierarchical design. By operation, the software architecture is divided into a service plane and a management plane. The service plane forwards service data, including necessary protocol process and data driving. The data forwarding is automatically completed. The management plane processes data configuration and notifies the current operation status. The configuration is basically completed under an interactive environment.
