Home Subscriber Server ZXUN HSS (Home Subscriber Server) is one of ZXUN USPP products to manage ZTE user's data of the unified core network, and it is one user data management network element of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) core network. IMS is submitted by 3GPP in Release 5 version to support the IP multimedia subsystem. In the 3GPP Release 5 stages, HLR / AUC network element upgraded to HSS, in addition to the original interfaces functions with the CS and PS domain network element. It adds new interface functions with IMS domain network element, including mobility management, session establishment, and features such as generating authentication information

• Distributed architecture
