treasures, is a beautiful and impressive sculpture carved with expertise in a
single piece of wood, heavy fine, protected with bright red garnet Chinese
lacquer. His dtyle belongs to the religious art of ancient China, whose legend
and iconographic symbols dating from the time of the lavish imperial Song
Dynasty (960-1275).
